If you have been evacuated, displaced, experienced property or vehicle loss, or are facing financial hardship because of a wildfire, Blue Federal Credit Union is here to help.
Members who have been impacted by active wildfires may qualify for a variety of relief options, including:
Fire Replacement Auto Loan
Available for members whose secured auto loan collateral was totaled due to the fire, excluding recreational vehicles, RVs, and boats.
Eligible members may qualify for Blue’s best rate, regardless of credit score or traditional rate add-ons. You may also be able to delay your first payment for up to 90 days.
Skip-A-Pay and Deferral Requests
Members may be eligible for skip-a-pay or payment deferral assistance. The standard skip-a-pay fee will be waived for eligible wildfire relief requests.
Emergency Unsecured Loan
Emergency unsecured loans up to $5,000 may be available for terms up to 36 months at 4.99% APR, with no payment due for up to 90 days. A credit pull is required; proof of income is only needed for compliance, risk, or exception approval.
This option provides short-term support for urgent recovery costs, including lodging, food, fuel, clothing, pet care, insurance deductibles, cleanup, and other immediate needs.

Account Access and Replacement Card Support
If your debit card was lost, damaged, or inaccessible due to evacuation or property loss, Blue can help with instant debit card replacement support.
Our team can also help you access digital banking, connect with the contact center, use shared branching or surcharge-free ATM options, update your mailing address, pause mail delivery, replace checks, reset digital access, or secure your accounts after displacement.
