July 2026 Newsletter
Each month, we bring you what’s happening across our communities—along with tools and opportunities designed to support you where you are and where you’re going next. This July we have several exciting events happening.

Support for Members Impacted by Wildfires

Our hearts are with everyone affected by the wildfire conditions impacting communities throughout Colorado.
If you have been evacuated, displaced, experienced property or vehicle loss, or are facing financial hardship because of a wildfire, Blue Federal Credit Union is here to help. We are offering relief options designed to provide immediate support and reduce financial stress during this difficult time.
Available support may include emergency loans, payment deferrals, skip-a-pay assistance, replacement debit cards, help with account access, and guidance for members navigating next steps after evacuation or property loss.
If you or your family have been impacted, please contact us or visit a branch. Our team will listen first, help identify the option that best fits your situation, and work to make the process as simple as possible.
For You. For Life.

Thank You
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 75th Anniversary Member Appreciation Day—and to those who celebrated with us from afar, thank you for being part of our story.
Across Colorado and Wyoming, our branches welcomed members with unique celebrations, from carnival games and food to sweet treats, giveaways, and plenty of smiles. Most importantly, each branch had the opportunity to give back by supporting a local nonprofit chosen by our members, making this milestone a celebration of community as much as our history.
For 75 years, you’ve trusted us to be part of your financial journey. We’re grateful for every member, every connection, and every opportunity to serve. Here’s to the next 75 years—For You. For Life.

Your Money Stays Local—That Changes Everything
When you choose where to bank, you are making more than a financial decision. You are choosing what your money does next.
At a traditional bank, profits often move outward—toward shareholders, corporate offices, and markets far from your community.
At a credit union, it works differently.
For 75 years, Blue has done it differently.
Your money stays local. And that changes everything.

FRAUD TIPS
Loan Scam Warning Signs:
Fraudsters are getting more sophisticated, and loan scams continue to target consumers looking for quick financial solutions.
These scams often start with what seems like great news: you’re approved for a loan. But before long, the scammer asks for personal information, sends a fraudulent check, or pressures you to send money back. By the time the check is returned as counterfeit, the victim is left responsible for the lost funds.
Guaranteed approval with little to no credit check
Real lenders don’t promise approval upfront – especially without reviewing your credit.
Requests for personal information too early
Be cautious if you’re asked for your Social Security number, online banking login, or verification codes before anything is verified.
You’re approved for more than you requested or applied for
Scammers often “accidentally” send a larger amount and ask you to return the difference.
They send you a check and ask you to send money back
This is the biggest red flag. The check may look like it cleared, but it can still come back as fraudulent days later—leaving you responsible for the full amount.
