Thankful Thursday Returns May 14 to Support the Blue Foundation and Local Nonprofits in Colorado and Wyoming
CHEYENNE, WY (March 2026) — Blue Federal Credit Union and the Blue Foundation announced Thankful Thursday will
return on Thursday, May 14, 2026, inviting community members to “party with a purpose” and help fuel local nonprofit
work across Colorado and Wyoming.
Part of Cheyenne’s well-known spring tradition, Thankful Thursday has raised more than $3.2 million for local nonprofits
since the program began. Proceeds from the 2026 event will support the Blue Foundation’s efforts to champion and
fund 501(c)(3) organizations focused on financial wellness, education, and community wellbeing.
“Thankful Thursday is about bringing people together around something bigger than one night out,” said
Michele Bolkovatz, Vice President of Community & Business Development. “Every ticket, every donation, and
every shared moment helps strengthen the organizations doing essential work for our neighbors across the
region.”
