CHEYENNE, WY (March 2026) — Blue Federal Credit Union is celebrating 75 years of service, connection, and community impact with a milestone anniversary that honors the past, celebrates the present, and gives back to the people and places that have been part of its journey.
For 75 years, Blue has grown alongside its members and communities, guided by the credit union philosophy of people helping people. That spirit remains at the heart of the organization today and is reflected in a yearlong anniversary celebration centered on gratitude, generosity, and shared stories. The anniversary initiative is designed to make the celebration both meaningful and impactful by investing directly in the communities that have supported Blue along the way.
As part of the celebration, all Blue branch locations will host 75th Anniversary celebrations on June 23, 2026, inviting members, employees, and community partners to join in the festivities. Each branch will receive support to create a local celebration that reflects its community, with ideas ranging from food trucks to chamber partnerships and other neighborhood-centered experiences.
A signature part of the anniversary is 75 Acts of Kindness, a branch-led initiative that brings Blue’s commitment to doing good to life in a tangible way. Each branch will identify local nonprofit organizations, invite members to vote on a nonprofit to receive a $500 donation, and complete a second act of kindness through volunteer service with another nonprofit in its community.
“Reaching 75 years is more than a milestone for Blue. It is a celebration of the relationships, trust, and shared purpose that have defined who we are for generations,” said Michele Bolkovatz, Vice President of Community and Business Development. “This anniversary is our chance to celebrate with the people who have been part of our story and to give back in a way that reflects the heart of Blue.”
Blue’s 75th Anniversary will also feature Member Stories – Through the Decades, a campaign highlighting why members joined Blue, why they have stayed, and the personal impact Blue has had in their lives over time. The storytelling effort will span email and social media and help bring the anniversary to life through real stories from the people Blue serves.
From branch celebrations to acts of kindness, Blue’s 75th Anniversary is more than a look back. It is a reflection of a legacy built through service and a future shaped by community. As Blue celebrates this moment, the credit union remains focused on what has always mattered most: showing up for members, investing in local communities, and creating lasting impact together.
