Plan for the unexpected with a free member benefit

Many Blue Federal Credit Union members take advantage of a great product called Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Accidental death and dismemberment insurance (AD&D) is insurance coverage that pays a cash benefit in the event of an accident that causes death or a serious covered injury. As a benefit to membership, Blue Federal Credit Union pays for our members to obtain up to $1,000 of AD&D insurance, at no additional cost to the member.

This is a great product as it not only provides a member with an added membership benefit, but also allows members to purchase up to $300,000 of additional AD&D insurance. You can increase your benefit any time by visiting www.trustage.com/upgrade.

To access your account, please call us at 1-888-380-9287 or click here.

AD&D Insurance is underwritten and serviced by TruStage.

Existing AD&D Policy Holders

Please read this section if your AD&D policy was registered prior to October 1, 2016

Existing Blue members who had a BASIC AD&D insurance policy ($1,000 no-cost membership benefit) with Affinion (Blue's former provider) prior to October 1, 2016, have been automatically converted to our new TruStage no-cost $1,000 paid benefit for Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D).
If you were transferred to our new program, you were notified by mail in October and will be officially enrolled in the new program on 12/1/2016.

The remainder of ADVANCED policy holders (elective increased coverage beyond $1,000 no-cost membership benefit) will be notified at a later date as these policies will be held through Affinion (Blue's former provider) until 2020. If you are an advanced policy holder who enrolled in AD&D prior to October 1, 2016, and wish to increase or decrease your coverage, you must contact Affinion directly at:
