2020 Blue Foundation Scholarship Recipients

Meet this year's Board Nominees who are now representing you and filling vacancies on our board.

Michael Ryan has been a member of the Credit Union since 1998.  He has served on the Board of Directors since 2014. He previously served as the Chair of the Supervisory Committee for four years. He is the President/CEO of Global Intelligence Resources and holds an M.A. degree in History from Cal State Dominguez Hills and a BA in Mass Communications from Fresno State University. Michael holds membership in numerous professional and civic organizations including Life Member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, the Foreign Legion Association, Wyoming Basset Hound Rescue, Interfaith Hospitality Network and is the past President of the Cheyenne Sunrise Lions.

Robert Luna has been a member of the Credit Union since 1973.  He has served on the Board of Directors since 1994, with the exception of a small break for 1½ years. He served as Chair for four years. He retired from the City of Boulder in 2006 and is now co-owner of four Boulder County Real Estate Offices. Robert and his wife have two daughters who are very active in multiple sports.  Robert and his family enjoy traveling. 


Raymond Wade worked in the financial services industry for 27 years, spending the majority of his career with the American Airlines Federal Credit Union in Texas. He held a number of Officer positions with the Credit Union. After retiring from American Airlines in 2018, he relocated to Colorado with his wife Janie and settled in Lafayette. Ray and Janie have two sons that currently attend the University of Texas at Austin. Since moving to Colorado, Ray and his family have taken advantage of the many outdoor activities not readily available in Texas. Ray is looking forward to giving back to the credit union industry that has given his family so much over the years.


Teresa Kunkel worked for the State of Wyoming for 33 years with the Department of Revenue and the State Auditor’s Office in accounting. She worked as an Insurance Examiner for 9 years with the Department of Insurance and recently worked as the CFO for the School Facilities Department. She also prepared taxes for 20 years and owned her own practice for 12 of those years. In addition, she served as Treasurer for the board of another credit union and was a member of the Wyoming Association of Public Accountants (WAPA) from 1995-2012. Teresa is currently Treasurer for the Women’s Civic League of Cheyenne and is involved in other volunteer organizations. She enjoys her family, golf, and traveling. She and her husband have two sons and two grandsons.
