As part of our True Blue 2030 Masterplan, we are looking to realize the pathway to homeownership for those who otherwise lack the cash for a down payment.
This endeavor is meant to be a community connector and assist credit union members into homeownership. The goal is for this not to be a profitable venture for the credit union, rather a pioneering social investment back into our communities. This novel concept connects with the original credit union spirit of achieving a higher standard of living for the general community by pooling savings and making loans to neighbors and co-workers.


Meet your Champion on Call

As a member of our exclusive Blue Subscription Pilot Program, you will have unfettered access to our Champion on Call team. Customize your Pilot Program experience by letting your Champion know your financial goals!

Champions are available via:

M-F | 8:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. MT

The pilot groups include:

  • A subscription package that will offer differentiated benefits & services
  • POD-based employee groups that will serve as ‘Champions on Call’ for any member of the subscription package pilot
  • A mortgage product that will connect charitable members to those who lack the cash required for a down payment

With this master plan, we are actively seeking to be the lifelong champion of our members and create community connections to transform the financial services experience. Ultimately, we desire to help our members and communities discover pathways to realize their possibilities.

In the next few months, a group of selected Blue members will receive an invitation from us to participate in a few pilot programs that we have been developing over this last year. We designed these pilot programs with member experience in mind. Should you receive an invite to participate in one of these groups, we strongly encourage you to join.

Access to our Champion on Call team will ensure you have a direct line to a Blue employee that is there to help you! They will take a consultative approach to your needs, financial education, and financial goals.

The Champion on Call team is there to support you in whatever capacity you see fit. If you prefer emails over phone calls, just let them know!

In the case of default leading to foreclosure, Blue Federal Credit Union will handle the entire process. 80% of any losses after foreclosure will be covered by Blue. 20% of any losses after foreclosure will be covered proportionately by the members who have pledged share certificates into the program.

You will be reimbursed all applicable fees on a monthly basis.

Debit card cashback for select outdoor retailers will happen monthly at a give-back rate of 3.00%.

Debit and Credit card cashback for all retailers will be given at the end of the calendar year at a give-back rate of 0.50%, as a year end bonus.

Pilot Program Timing

We are aiming to kick-off these groups at the beginning of 2022. Again, the success of these pilots will depend on the participation of those invited, which is why we encourage you to participate if you receive an email invitation.

Number of Participants in Subscription Service is limited during BETA testing period. Participants responsible for paying monthly service fee in advance of receiving benefits. At close of BETA testing period, membership will return to previous membership rewards tier. Insured by NCUA.
