Neighborhood Night Out
Blue Federal Credit Union to Host Neighborhood Night Out Party In Cheyenne
Cheyenne, Wyo. – Blue Federal Credit Union is honored to be the main host site at its new World Headquarters building for the 12th Annual Neighborhood Night Out, in conjunction with the Cheyenne Police Department (CPD) and the Comea Shelter.
The event will take place at Blue World Headquarters located at 2401 E Pershing Blvd in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on Thursday, July 15th from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public at large, not just the surrounding neighborhoods. There will be activities provided by the CPD and food provided by the Comea Shelter, as well as games and events provided by Blue. Blue has backed the blue night out since the inception of the event in 2009.
“Neighborhood Night Out is a great way to get to know others in your community and have fun,” says Alexandra Farkas, Public Information Officer with the CPD. “Having Blue as a host site in the heart of Cheyenne will allow more people to experience all that the night has to offer.”
Neighborhood Night Out seeks to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
“We see this partnership as a crucial component to being good neighbors and stewards of community,” says Michele Bolkovatz Vice President of Public Relations at Blue Federal Credit Union. “When our neighbors are able to meet and connect with one another and the officers that serve them, we are able to work together to prevent crime.”
Every block party will be unique - individual neighborhoods may plan vastly different meals, activities, and entertainment. For more information about Neighborhood Night Out and to find your closet location visit cheyennepd.org/NNO
